PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Zoe Mazzu is an associate attorney at KSM with a background in civil litigation and intellectual property. A native Tennessean, Zoe brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by experience across a range of legal practice areas.
Zoe earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School in May 2025, with a Certificate in Intellectual Property, Media, and Information Law. During law school, she served as a Note Editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, Outreach Director for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honors Society, and a Fellow with the Block Center for International Business Law. She was also an active member of the Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society and served as Alumni Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Association.
Before joining KSM, Zoe clerked at several New York law firms, gaining broad exposure to legal practice across a variety of matters, from music law to civil litigation. She also served as a Student Clinician at Brooklyn Law School’s Incubator & Policy Clinic (BLIP), representing emerging companies in incorporation, compliance, transactional, and intellectual property matters.
Zoe received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees, both cum laude, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in Sociology & Gender Studies and Italian.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
A native Tennessean, Zoe is glad to be back home in Nashville near her family. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling, live music, and spending time with her partner, JC, and rescue cats, Bob and Renesmee.
