PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Callie has a wide range of experience in civil litigation, including class and complex employment cases. She has argued cases in both federal and state courts in Tennessee and has federal trial experience. Callie also speaks Spanish and has experience drafting bilingual documents and handling depositions conducted through interpreters.

Callie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. During law school, she was an acquisitions editor for the Tennessee Law Review, worked as preceptor for LAW 842 (contract drafting), and served as a summer judicial intern for the Honorable Pamela L. Reeves of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Prior to joining Klein Solomon Mills, Callie primarily represented plaintiffs in employment-related disputes. Callie’s experience representing both plaintiffs and employers lends her credibility with both clients and opposing parties in the face of complicated employment matters. Her focus on collegiality, creative thinking, and problem solving makes her a persuasive and effective advocate for those she represents.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Callie is a Nashville native and a proud graduate of Eakin Elementary, West End Middle, and Hillsboro High School. She completed part of her undergraduate degree in Argentina, where she studied philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and University del Salvador. Callie is an artist and enjoys working with wood and clay mediums. In college, she spent a month backpacking and canoeing in the Yukon, Canada to complete a training course offered by the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Although her trips are not as long these days, Callie still enjoys hiking and canoeing whenever she gets the chance.
