SENIOR ASSOCIATE / JUNIOR PARTNER JOB POSTING
We are seeking a smart, highly-motivated, tenacious, and experienced Senior Associate / Junior Partner Attorney to assist with all phases of a diverse portfolio of civil cases. Successful candidates should not only have strong academic credentials, but possess a deep entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude, desire to produce A+ work, and hunger to learn and grow.
About the Firm
At KSM, we pride ourselves on being a boutique law firm that provides big-firm capabilities with an emphasis on people and problem solving. We provide first-rate litigation, transactional, and advice and counseling services to Fortune 500 Companies and start-ups, governmental entities and non-profits, and individuals. We refuse to be a cookie cutter or “country club” law firm.
As a small and nimble firm, we are guided by our core values:
- Clients’ needs come first.
- We solve problems.
- Relationships matter.
- We are easy to work with.
- We do first-rate work.
- Everybody makes the copies.

- Conducting legal research or reviewing compiled research prepared by junior associates and/or paralegals.
- Analyzing complex legal issues and providing client advice.
- Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.

Qualifications:

- Desire to learn and grow.
Benefits:
At KSM, you are able to pursue your desired income and professional goals. Base salary is commensurate with experience, and we offer profit sharing and annual bonus opportunities.
Our billable hour requirements are substantially less than BigLaw because:
- We value quality over quantity – we measure success by getting things done right and solving problems, not logging hours for the sake of logging hours. To be clear, however, fewer hours does not translate into lower expectations – we are a team of high performers, and we demand excellence.
- We value family, relationships, and experiences outside of the practice of law.
We offer medical, dental and vision benefits, short term disability benefits, and paid parental leave. We also cover the costs of the following:
- Malpractice insurance
- NBA bar membership
- Annual attorney license fees and taxes
- Annual Continuing Legal Education
