Saul Solomon was the Metro Nashville Legal Director for nearly four years and in that capacity developed a strong understanding of how things get done in Nashville. Kevin Klein spent nearly nine years as an attorney with the Metro Nashville Department of Law, advising the Mayor, Director of Finance, and various boards and commissions, as well as representing the City in complex federal litigation.

- Represented a government entity in connection with the implementation of a new enterprise software suits
- Lead defense counsel in NAACP-backed class-action lawsuit against the Metro Nashville Board of Education, wherein plaintiffs requested that the Court rezone Metro schools.
- Trial counsel during a three-week preliminary injunction hearing, defeating plaintiffs’ request that the Court rezone Metro schools.
- Trial counsel during two-and-a-half week trial, again defeating plaintiffs’ request that the Court rezone Metro schools and obtaining complete defense verdict.
- Represented a government entity in its efforts to receive greater tax revenue from the county government
- Successfully defended Metro Nashville Board of Education in connection with an equal protection challenge to its school zoning plan
- Represented Metro Nashville in connection with its contracts with the Nashville Predators
