Klein Solomon Mills attorneys have significant experience counseling clients regarding labor and employment issues, as well as litigating and trying employment cases before state and federal courts.
On the front end, we draft policies, handbooks and employment contracts; advise on problematic disciplinary, termination, leave, and wage and hour issues; and coach and train employers in how to avoid employment disputes. On the back end, our team is known for defending tough employment cases, including claims of discrimination and harassment against elected officials, corporate executives, and business leaders.

- Successfully representing Metro Nashville departments in Civil Service Appeals, both before Administrative Law Judges and the Civil Service Commission.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of organizations and individuals, both before and after summary judgment stage.
- Managing and negotiating collective bargaining agreements affecting multiple plants and covering over 10,000 unionized employees.
